The value of some of Chelsea’s most expensive purchases from the previous year at Stamford Bridge must quickly become apparent to the team.

When Chelsea paid over £89 million to sign Mudryk from Shakhtar Donetsk in January, there were high expectations for him. After head coach Mikel Arteta asked for another attacking option for the second part of the season, the 22-year-old was about to sign with Arsenal.
Todd Boehly, co-owner and chairman of Chelsea, moved swiftly to sign the Ukraine international from the Gunners in an £88.5 million deal. After making an impression at Shakhtar in the first part of the season, Mudryk couldn’t help but express his happiness at moving to Stamford Bridge (via Sky Sports).

But Mudryk hasn’t been without incident while he’s been in west London. When the winger joined Chelsea, Potter was the head coach. Two months later, he was let go when Frank Lampard, the interim manager, failed to maximize the potential of the young player. Pochettino is now in charge of advancing the Chelsea player who cost the world’s highest transfer fee from Ukraine but has not yet scored.
What had Jones to say about Mudryk and Chelsea?
Jones thinks that Mudryk must step up for Chelsea at this point, and he feels the same about left-back Marc Cucurella ($60 million), who has watched Ben Chilwell emerge as the team’s most talented player. The journalist claims that GIVEMESPORT:
The Chelsea team needs him to start playing and having an impact on the team at this moment. Chilwell is currently Chelsea’s most advanced and threatening player. That is not a favorable predicament.
Pochettino ought to reevaluate any good traits he notices in him. Chelsea has recognized that Chilwell is a fine attacking left-back but not a striker or a true winger.
