His death occurred suddenly at the family home in Tyrone, just three days after witnessing hundreds of supporters at Anfield singing his son’s name.
Liverpool issued a statement on Saturday evening, stating that the player himself will decide on Bradley’s participation in future matches before they are played.
It remains unclear if the child was part of the Reds team that traveled to London earlier for their match against Arsenal on Sunday.
Following the heartbreaking news, Bradley will be given all the time he needs, with an outpouring of sympathy and well-wishes from supporters on social media.
Despite a long-term injury sustained during pre-season, the right-back has made a remarkable comeback this season, featuring in nine games and starting the last five. His standout performance included a goal against Chelsea on Wednesday night.
