Jurgen Klopp’s near-decade tenure at Liverpool is in danger of losing its shine following back-to-back home defeats to Atalanta and Crystal Palace.

Liverpool’s momentum in Klopp’s final season is dwindling after losses to Atalanta and Crystal Palace within just four days.

The team had a promising start with a victory over Chelsea in the Carabao Cup final in late February, which was their first trophy since Klopp announced his departure from the club in January.

At first, the League Cup triumph seemed like a promising start, with aspirations of winning three more significant trophies and even talk of a potential quadruple.

However, a remarkable comeback now seems unlikely, especially given the team’s recent struggles in front of goal.

Securing the Premier League title would be more meaningful than any other trophy, and there’s a feeling that Klopp’s team deserves more than just one championship in his nine-year spell.

After Sunday’s 1-0 loss to Palace at Anfield, the Reds are now two points behind champions Manchester City and could drop to three points behind Arsenal if the Gunners beat Aston Villa.

Needing to win all their remaining matches, Klopp’s team still has a shot at the title. However, their destiny is no longer entirely in their hands. As Klopp gets ready to depart in the summer, Liverpool’s season is in danger of fading away.
