As the summer transfer window approaches, discussions surrounding Mo Salah’s future are gaining momentum once again.

Graeme Bailey reports for HITC that Liverpool’s Football CEO Michael Edwards would be open to allowing the 31-year-old to leave Anfield if he desires, especially with the Saudi Pro League considering another attempt to sign him after failing in 2023.

During a discussion on ESPN FC, Craig Burley mentioned that there’s speculation about Salah departing for Saudi Arabia soon, while fellow pundit Steve Nicol suggested that Liverpool would find a £150 million transfer offer acceptable.

When asked if Liverpool could handle losing both Salah and Jurgen Klopp in the same summer, the former LFC defender responded by stating that the club would continue to operate regardless.

While every player has a price, Liverpool would likely demand a significant sum for Salah, considering his impact and status as the club’s fifth-highest goalscorer.

Despite turning 32 soon and nearing the end of his contract, Salah’s game-changing abilities and consistency make him indispensable. Any decision to accept a £150 million offer would necessitate securing top-notch replacements.
