Reports suggest that Zinedine Zidane, the former Real Madrid manager and renowned footballer, has made a decision about his next club amidst rumors linking him to Jurgen Klopp’s position at Liverpool.
Zidane, who won the prestigious Ballon d’Or award in 1998, enjoyed a successful managerial career at Real Madrid, clinching the Champions League trophy three times and securing the La Liga title twice during his tenure.
Despite his accomplishments, he has been without a coaching role since leaving Real Madrid at the end of the 2020/21 season.
While Zidane was previously linked with a return to management, particularly at Manchester United, recent reports hinted at a potential move to Liverpool.
However, German outlet BILD suggests that Zidane has opted for Bayern Munich as his next destination.
Bayern Munich is currently seeking a new manager following the confirmation of Thomas Tuchel’s departure at the end of the season.
This development aligns with reports indicating that both Liverpool and Bayern Munich are vying for Bayer Leverkusen’s manager, Xabi Alonso.
Alonso, when questioned about his future amid interest from Liverpool and Bayern Munich, refrained from providing concrete details, emphasizing his commitment to Bayer Leverkusen.
However, Germany legend Lotthar Matthaus has urged Alonso to consider Bayern Munich over Liverpool, suggesting that the managerial role at the German club would be more fulfilling, especially as the successor to the revered Jurgen Klopp.
