Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has reportedly discussed a potential transfer with Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford, aiming to strengthen his attacking options for the upcoming season.

Alongside their interest in Rashford, Arsenal is also competing with Tottenham Hotspur for Rennes’ highly-rated 18-year-old midfielder, Desire Doue, highlighting their focus on young talent.

Meanwhile, Manchester United’s transfer plans could hinge on appointing Mauricio Pochettino as their new manager.

If Pochettino takes over, United might pursue Chelsea’s Conor Gallagher and Trevoh Chalobah to enhance their midfield and defense.

Tottenham Hotspur is also active in the transfer market, with Brentford striker Ivan Toney open to joining Spurs, potentially boosting their attacking lineup.

In the Saudi Pro League, Al Ittihad is prepared to offer £25 million for Manchester City goalkeeper Ederson, reflecting the league’s growing financial influence.

Manchester City may also sell midfielder Kalvin Phillips, who has struggled for game time, to fund other transfers.

Chelsea is expected to be busy as well. Romelu Lukaku is interested in reuniting with former Inter Milan manager Antonio Conte at Napoli, which could facilitate Chelsea’s pursuit of Napoli striker Victor Osimhen. Additionally, Chelsea is preparing a £20 million bid for Burnley goalkeeper James Trafford.

In La Liga, Arda Guler has decided to stay and fight for his place at Real Madrid, rejecting offers from Sevilla and Real Betis.

However, Barcelona faces a setback in their pursuit of Bayern Munich’s Joshua Kimmich, who turned down their offer due to salary constraints.

Liverpool is also preparing for the transfer window, eyeing a move for Atalanta midfielder Ederson, aiming to add his dynamic presence to their midfield.
