However, according to ESPN journalist Mark Ogden, Liverpool might still complete Gordon’s signing, as the player is eager to join Anfield. This transfer, if finalized, would bolster Liverpool’s attack and fulfill Gordon’s dream of playing for his boyhood club.
Gordon’s successful season with Newcastle, where he scored 11 goals and provided 10 assists in 35 Premier League matches, highlights his potential value to Liverpool. This deal could benefit both clubs and the player.
