The billionaire owner has instigated a series of reforms within Manchester United’s administrative team, with support from INEOS chief Sir Dave Brailsford.

Expressing dissatisfaction with various facilities, particularly noting deficiencies in the IT department and the dressing rooms for the youth teams, the owner conducted a thorough evaluation of the club.

In an email obtained by The Daily Mail, the owner shared his observations, highlighting concerns such as untidiness in several areas.

Specifically, he pointed out the inadequate state of the IT department and the dressing rooms for the U18 and U21 teams, emphasizing that such standards do not meet expectations for a top-tier sporting organization like Manchester United.

Emphasizing the importance of maintaining high standards and discipline, the owner stressed the significance of proper maintenance to uphold the club’s reputation, especially in the presence of visitors, parents of young players, new signings, and the media.

To address these issues, the owner underscored the need for adherence to proper standards of cleanliness and organization across the club’s facilities.

Furthermore, the owner has already begun restructuring United’s executive team to elevate overall standards.

This includes appointing Omar Berrada as CEO, slated to assume the role in the upcoming summer.

Additionally, John Murtough has stepped down from his position as football director, with his duties to be assumed by technical director Jason Wilcox and incoming sporting director Dan Ashworth once he completes his transition from Newcastle.

These measures reflect a concerted effort by the owner to enhance Manchester United’s overall standards and operations, ensuring the club maintains its position as an elite sporting institution.
