Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has just two matches remaining in his tenure at the club, having announced his decision to depart earlier this year.

Klopp, who arrived at the Merseyside club in 2015, led Liverpool to success in both the Premier League and the Champions League during his time there.

His transformative impact on the team has been evident, establishing them as a formidable force in football.

With only two games left in Liverpool’s season, they are set to face Aston Villa away and Wolves at home. However, Klopp could potentially miss his farewell match at Anfield due to the risk of a suspension.

According to reports from Liverpool Echo, Klopp is one yellow card away from serving a one-match suspension in the Premier League.

If he receives a yellow card during the match against Aston Villa, he will be unavailable for the final game against Wolves.

Klopp has already accumulated two yellow cards this season, both for protesting decisions, once against Luton Town and once against Burnley.

Therefore, he needs to exercise caution during the Aston Villa game to ensure he can bid farewell from the touchline at Anfield.

Liverpool’s upcoming matches hold little significance in terms of their league position, as they have already secured qualification for the Champions League.

Despite initially competing for the Premier League title against Manchester City and Arsenal, recent results have seen them fall behind in the race.

The team’s performances have been inconsistent in recent weeks, with disappointing displays against Crystal Palace, Everton, and West Ham United.

Additionally, their elimination from the Europa League by Atalanta added further disappointment to Klopp’s farewell season.

As the season draws to a close, Liverpool will aim to end on a positive note with victories in their final two matches.
