According to reports, Thomas Partey is not happy with how much he plays for Arsenal and may leave the North London team in January.
The midfielder hasn’t had much of an influence on the current campaign, despite being a key member of the Gunners’ championship push the previous year.
The Ghanaian player was in the starting lineup for the first three games of the season while he was healthy, despite missing a significant portion of the season due to injury.
However, Partey is reportedly considering departing in January as he grows more irritated with Mikel Arteta’s meager opportunities this season, according to Sky Sports.
Partey will not be playing for several more weeks, Arteta stated during his news conference on Friday, since he is currently healing from an injury.
It makes more sense to leave in January considering how difficult it will be to get back into the starting lineup.
Juventus has long shown interest in the midfield player from Arsenal, but it’s unclear if Arsenal will allow him to leave in the middle of the season or other teams would make a move for him during the winter transfer window.
