However, Lewandowski has rejected this proposal, affirming his commitment to Barcelona and expressing his desire to honor his contract, which runs until June 2025, with the option for an additional year based on specific performance criteria.
Publicly, Lewandowski has reiterated his intention to stay at Barcelona, emphasizing his satisfaction with life in the city. His family shares this sentiment and plans to continue residing in Barcelona even after his retirement from professional football.
Although Lewandowski may consider a stint in Major League Soccer (MLS) before retiring, his ultimate plan is to settle permanently in Barcelona.
