Manchester United fans demanded the sacking of Erik ten Hag during their 3-0 defeat to Tottenham after a disastrous start, which saw them concede within three minutes and lose Bruno Fernandes to a red card.

The team’s poor first-half display against Ange Postecoglou’s side began with Brennan Johnson scoring from a Mickey van de Ven cross. Fernandes was later sent off for kicking out at James Maddison.

Spurs capitalized on United’s struggles, with Dejan Kulusevski scoring early in the second half, prompting chants from the away fans calling for ten Hag’s dismissal.

Dominic Solanke added a third goal, further frustrating United supporters, some of whom had already expressed their discontent before halftime.

Fans took to social media, voicing their anger. One called for a “dark arts coach,” saying United needs to start playing dirty and demanded ten Hag be sacked.

Another criticized the lack of a game plan and claimed good players looked worse under ten Hag’s leadership.

Another fan pointed out the team’s disorganization, while another questioned whether ten Hag could realistically turn things around at Old Trafford.

Pundit Gary Neville was harsh in his assessment of the team’s performance, especially of Fernandes and Marcus Rashford, calling United’s first-half display “disgraceful” and one of the worst under ten Hag.

Neville specifically criticized Fernandes for his reckless challenge and Rashford for his poor touch leading to Spurs’ first goal.
