Calum Scanlon recently shared photos on his Instagram showing him wearing a protective boot on his right foot. Alongside the images, he captioned, “Minor setback, back stronger than ever.” The young full-back last appeared on the first-team bench during the FA Cup match against Southampton.
It appears that Scanlon will have to spend some time on the sidelines following the Manchester City game, but he should be back in the squad relatively soon.
