Cody Gakpo’s strike gave Liverpool an equalizer in the last seconds of the opening half to make it 1-1.
Dominik Szoboszlai beautifully flicks a ball into the far post. Gakpo responds admirably to Virgil Van Dijk’s nudge by controlling the ball before launching a shot on the half-turn.
Vicario manages to touch the ball, but no goalkeeper can stop the shot due to its strength.

For Liverpool supporters, relief quickly changed to concern as Gakpo appeared to be in pain as he fell to the ground as soon as the ball hit the back of the net. He appeared to be experiencing discomfort in the ankle now that Udogie had just removed it.
After receiving some care, he was able to complete the first half. The first half has been a thriller, and the second is anticipated to be equally exciting.
