According to reports, Manchester City has revealed their midfielder Kevin De Bruyne valuation in response to the Saudi Pro League’s interest. The Saudi Pro League team Al Nassr is rumored to have their sights set on De Bruyne for a possible summer transfer, hoping to persuade the legendary City player to leave European football.
If De Bruyne moves to the Saudi Pro League and teams up with Cristiano Ronaldo and Sadio Mane, it would also allow him to reunite with Aymeric Laporte, who recently signed with Manchester City.
De Bruyne turned down offers from Saudi Arabia last summer in favor of staying at City. The 32-year-old’s 2023–24 campaign hasn’t gone as expected, either, as a hamstring injury he suffered on the first day of the season against Burnley has kept him off the field.
According to reports, Manchester City is reportedly open to receiving bids for the Belgian midfield player before his deal expires in the summer of 2025. Notwithstanding De Bruyne’s reputation as one of the best players in the world when healthy, they have set an asking price of £60 million.
The Saudi Pro League is unlikely to have a problem with this valuation, especially because forecasts indicate that the summer transfer window of 2024 will be among the greatest in history.
De Bruyne’s incredible nine-year tenure at Manchester City, where he cemented his place among the Premier League’s all-time greats in the midfield, would come to an end with his possible exit next summer.
Under Pep Guardiola’s direction, he has won five Premier League crowns and one Champions League trophy throughout his tenure with the team.
