After more than a year of efforts to sell the club, the Glazer family has finally struck a deal with British billionaire Ratcliffe.
Ratcliffe, a devoted Manchester United supporter, acquired a significant 25% share in the club through a substantial £1.3 billion agreement, officially announced on December 24th.
His arrival has raised expectations among fans, as Ratcliffe is expected to oversee the club’s sporting aspects, fueling hope for significant changes in the coming period.
With Erik ten Hag assuming managerial duties, establishing a positive relationship with the new investors becomes vital in his mission to guide the team back into the top four.
Expressing optimism about the potential collaboration, the Dutch manager mentioned via Daily Mail on Friday, “They are eager to collaborate with me, and I share the same desire. We will engage in conversations and meetings soon. The schedule has been very tight, so I haven’t had the chance to talk to them yet, but it’s on the horizon. I’m looking forward to it.”
