DONE DEAL: Manchester United Beat PSG and Real Madrid to £60m South American Star — Medical Set for This Week

Manchester United have reportedly won the race to sign Bryan Mbeumo, fending off competition from Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid.

The £60 million-rated forward is set to travel tomorrow, with his medical scheduled later in the week — much to the delight of United fans.

The Red Devils have been pushing hard to secure Mbeumo’s services, having identified him as a key piece in Ruben Amorim’s attacking plans. He is expected to occupy one of the dual No.10 roles alongside new arrival Matheus Cunha.

Mbeumo is coming off a career-best season, scoring 20 Premier League goals — a tally bettered only by Mohamed Salah, Alexander Isak, and Erling Haaland.

This marked his first double-digit top-flight campaign after consistent but more modest returns in previous years.

United initially had a £55m bid rejected, but returned with an improved offer worth over £60m.

According to The Standard, the two clubs are now ironing out the final details — particularly regarding performance-based bonuses and add-ons. Brentford are reportedly seeking easier triggers before agreeing to the transfer.

While United are in the lead, Brentford haven’t ruled out higher bids from elsewhere, especially with other top clubs still circling.

If completed, Mbeumo’s exit would become Brentford’s most lucrative sale ever — surpassing Ivan Toney’s £40m move to Al-Ahli.
