Last year, the 25-year-old was close to leaving for Wolves, but Klopp intervened, persuading him to stay.
Kelleher was rewarded with a significant run of appearances this season due to Alisson Becker’s injury, showcasing his talent with impressive saves.
However, upon Alisson’s return, Kelleher returned to the bench, highlighting his backup status.
With Klopp’s departure imminent, the incoming manager, likely Arne Slot, might opt for a new backup goalkeeper, potentially prompting Kelleher to seek opportunities elsewhere.
Despite his commendable performances, Liverpool understands Kelleher’s desire for regular first-team action, especially considering his age and experience.
