Gerardo Martino, the manager of Inter Miami, has declared that he intends to attempt to bring Luis Suarez into Major League Soccer, even if the striker will not have a team by December.

Following the World Cup, the Uruguayan player joined Gremio and has been a part of the squad since the start of 2023. Since then, the 36-year-old has made 43 appearances for the Brazilian squad, tallying 18 goals and 13 assists.
The goal of Gerardo Martino’s recruitment strategy is to try to get the striker to Major League Soccer (MLS). When Suarez’s current contract expires at the end of the year, it seems likely that Inter Miami will sign the well-known football star.
At a press conference, Martino said, “We have an analysis with Luis and an analysis without Luis within our analysis of the upcoming season, and the needs we may have,” as Goal reported.
“When it’s time to formally confirm Suarez’s situation with Inter Miami, we’ll be ready to go in the right direction.”

Suarez was first linked to a move to the Major League Soccer franchise during the summer transfer window, but he ultimately decided to remain with Gremio.
At Inter Miami, Suarez would have the most amazing reunion with his best friend and former Barcelona teammate Lionel Messi. At the Catalan club, the two were dominating with Neymar.
The two will want to duplicate that kind of success in the US should the outstanding striker decide to move to the East Coast.
