The first Premier League manager to be fired this year is anticipated.
The Premier League is reportedly on the verge of dismissing its first manager of the year due to Andoni Iraola’s troubles at Bournemouth.
The summer saw the Spanish tactician take over as manager of the Cherries, but things haven’t gone as planned as his team is currently sitting in 19th place in the standings with only one win this season.
Bournemouth hardly made it out of the Premier League the previous year. They probably sought to improve on their previous year’s performance by giving some better ones this year.
Although Iraola looked like the ideal person to take charge of them, a Daily Mail article indicates that his position may now be more vulnerable.
It’s not looking good for Iraola right now because Bournemouth might believe that this season can still be saved if they make the appropriate adjustment soon enough.
The Premier League is a whole different ballgame from what the 41-year-old previously accomplished at Rayo Vallecano, and it appears to be proving to be too much of a step up for him at this point in his coaching career.
