Ten Hag claimed, “I’ve made it clear to the Manchester United board that I do not want him on the team next season,” pleading with them to offload the £60 million, uncommitted player at any cost in the forthcoming campaign.

According to reports, Manchester United’s insistence on incorporating a £50 million obligation-to-buy clause in the agreement prevented Jadon Sancho from moving to Saudi Pro League team Al-Ettifaq as requested.

After a public argument about training standards with Manchester United’s manager, Erik ten Hag, Sancho’s future had been in doubt. Given Saudi Arabia’s lengthy transfer window, there was talk of a potential transfer there.

According to The Daily Mail, Sancho, who was signed by Jordan Henderson earlier in the summer, has showed interest in a loan deal from Steven Gerrard’s Al-Ettifaq. The Saudi club apparently regarded Manchester United’s demand for a £50 million future sale obligation to be too exorbitant, which led to the breakdown of discussions. During the international break, conversations with the player, club personnel, and management are scheduled, according to Sky Sports, with the joint goal of enhancing Sancho’s performance.

Ten Hag left Jadon Sancho off the team for the Arsenal game, citing his performance in training as the reason. Sancho has played three times as a substitute this season. Sancho responded by complaining about being unfairly held responsible on social media.

Axel Tuanzebe, a former Manchester United defender, has joined Ipswich Town. He appeared in 37 games for Manchester United’s first team, but the club let him go in the summer. Previously, Tuanzebe spent time on loan at Aston Villa, Napoli, and Stoke City.

Tuanzebe elected to reconcile with former Manchester United boss Kieran McKenna at Portman Road despite conversations with Real Betis in Spain, Sheffield United, and Luton Town.
