Robinson’s exceptional defensive statistics place him among the top 1% of players in similar positions across Europe’s major leagues in the last year. Additionally, he ranks in the top 20% for successful take-ons (1.3), aerial duels won (1.32), and progressive carries (3.06) per game (FBref).
Despite admirable performances by Joe Gomez at left-back against Burnley and the inclusion of young talents like Luke Chambers and Calum Scanlon in the first team this season, Liverpool recognizes the necessity of reinforcing their left-back position in the upcoming January transfer window.
