As the Egyptian player’s contract with Liverpool approaches its final two years, the club hasn’t secured him on a new long-term deal yet.
“Mo Salah isn’t the kind of person to demand double the earnings of other players at the football club. I doubt that would be the case, but surprises can happen,” Murphy stated in a talkSPORT quote.

“Salah doesn’t appear discontent; watching him play shows he’s still lively, enthusiastic, and determined. He doesn’t seem like someone tired of his current situation or lacking the drive to excel.
“He appears fully engaged. It wouldn’t surprise me if his new Liverpool contract is finalized in the next two months.”
This Premier League season, the 29-year-old has made a strong start, scoring two goals and providing two assists in three matches, placing Liverpool fifth on the table with seven points, just two behind Tottenham Hotspur.
