Manchester United have reportedly contacted Olympiacos regarding the potential signing of 17-year-old forward Charalampos Kostoulas, a player also on Arsenal’s radar.
Dubbed a “marvel of nature” by Olympiacos sporting director Darko Kovacevic, Kostoulas has caught the attention of several Premier League clubs, including Chelsea, Tottenham, and Aston Villa, as well as European giants Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund, Juventus, and AC Milan.
United appear to be leading the race after officially reaching out to Olympiacos, according to reports. Kostoulas, who has been compared to Argentine legend Gabriel Batistuta and is nicknamed ‘Babistuta,’ has impressed with six goals and two assists in 33 first-team appearances.
Standing over six feet tall, he is known for his physicality, aerial dominance, and finishing ability.
While Olympiacos are reluctant to let him leave, his contract runs until 2030, making any potential transfer a complex negotiation.
Given the widespread interest in Kostoulas, a move to a top European club seems inevitable in the near future.
