Ruben Amorim, the manager of Sporting CP, has denied having conversations with Manchester United about Erik ten Hag’s possible replacement in the Old Trafford bench.
Ten Hag is under increasing pressure following a dismal run of results, prompting calls for the manager to be removed from his position. According to an English newspaper, United has reportedly begun considering options to the Dutchman.

In response to a question about whether things would change given rumors that his contract included a €10 million (£8.7 million) release clause, he said, “I won’t be commenting on that.
“I will honor the agreement and see to it that all its terms are met.”
