City took an early lead with a stunning goal from Phil Foden, knowing that a victory would secure the championship over Arsenal.
Foden quickly scored his second, and after Mohamed Kudus equalized with an overhead kick, Rodri secured the win for City.
Unfortunately for Mikel Arteta’s team, the Hammers struggled and lost 2-1 to Everton at the Emirates Stadium. Nevertheless, Arsenal did their best.
The Gunners’ championship run this season was stronger than last year, remaining contenders until the very end.
However, Rodri, a City star, highlighted that one of the reasons for City’s historic achievement was the differing mindsets between the two teams.
