The France squad has had to leave out Liverpool defender Ibrahima Konaté (24), according to RMC Sport journalist Fabrice Hawkins. The 24-year-old missed Liverpool’s 3-0 victory over Brentford on Sunday due to a slight hamstring injury he suffered during the warm-up for their UEFA Europa League match against Toulouse FC last Thursday.
It is anticipated that Konaté would miss France’s next games against Gibraltar and Greece. The defender will likely need two weeks to recover.
