Darwin Nunez was replaced at halftime after suffering an injury against Ecuador. According to Marcelo Bielsa, the attacker had “some muscular difficulties” when he arrived at the training camp.
Darwin had some physical limitations upon arrival that hindered his ability to operate, so according to Marcelo Bielsa, “I felt it was necessary to replace him because he overworked trying to press and attack in the last game.”
