Real Madrid encounter tough competition for this rising talent as the identity of the top star is finally uncovered.

Chelsea have reportedly intensified their pursuit of Nico Paz, the talented Argentine attacking midfielder currently shining at Como and heavily linked with a potential return to Real Madrid.

According to recent reports, the London club have officially made an enquiry about Paz, signaling their serious interest in bringing the young star to Stamford Bridge.

This isn’t the first time Chelsea have shown interest in the 21-year-old. The Blues have been monitoring his development for several weeks, impressed by his creativity, technical skill, and composure on the ball — qualities that have made him one of Serie A’s standout young talents.

As part of their ongoing strategy to invest in top young prospects, Chelsea see Paz as a perfect fit for their long-term vision. However, despite their financial strength and determination, they face tough competition from Real Madrid.

Reports from TBR Football claim that Madrid hold the upper hand in the race due to a buy-back clause and their close relationship with the player.

Having come through Real Madrid’s youth system, Paz reportedly feels a deep connection to the club and is eager to prove himself at the Bernabéu.

That emotional tie gives Madrid a clear advantage, making Chelsea’s task far more difficult. Still, Enzo Maresca is said to be keen on adding Paz to his squad as he looks to ease the creative burden on Cole Palmer and add more playmaking depth.

Even so, the final decision may rest with the player himself. Real Madrid’s prestige and history remain hard to resist — and if Paz truly dreams of returning to his boyhood club, Chelsea’s ambitious chase could ultimately fall short.
