Musiala to Liverpool? Great news for the reds

The gifted Jamal Musiala of Bayern Munich is rumored to have been on Liverpool’s radar for some time. His recent impressive displays for the German national team have just added fuel to the rumors. Leroy Sane and Musiala both performed admirably as Germany defeated the USMNT 3-1. In particular, Musiala impressed under new coach Julian Nagelsmann by scoring Germany’s third goal, winning accolades.

However, despite his outstanding accomplishments for the national team, Musiala has a problem at Bayern Munich because coach Thomas Tuchel frequently favors Thomas Muller over him. Musiala has apparently been frustrated with this circumstance since he wants to play regularly.

Although Musiala’s contract with Bayern is set to expire in 2026, negotiations over a potential extension were shelved following conversations with Hasan Salihamidzic, the former sports director of Bayern, during the summer. For the time being, Musiala’s group is waiting to see how Tuchel handles the matter in the upcoming months.

Notably, Musiala has drawn interest from both Real Madrid and Liverpool, with Jurgen Klopp considering making a move for him. Furthermore, Sane has been regarded as a possible Mohamed Salah substitute.

Musiala’s current €8 million yearly salary is increased by Bayern, but the 20-year-old would prefer to play more, especially considering his constant strong performance levels.
