attack on Arne Slot after the chaotic 3-3 draw with Leeds United.

Salah, who was benched for the third straight match, made it clear he is deeply unhappy with Slot’s decision-making and hinted that someone within the club is trying to push him out.

In a candid post-match interview, the 33-year-old admitted he feels betrayed by the way he has been treated, saying he believes he is being unfairly blamed despite everything he has contributed to Liverpool.

Salah stated that his relationship with the manager has completely broken down and questioned why he is suddenly being sidelined after years of carrying the team.

Below is the essence of Salah’s comments, as reported by vg.no:

He said he was shocked and extremely disappointed, stressing he has given everything for Liverpool. Being benched again left him feeling as though the club had turned against him.

He added that he previously enjoyed a good relationship with Slot, but now feels that has vanished for no clear reason.

Salah insisted he is not the problem at Liverpool and expressed frustration that he is repeatedly made the scapegoat. He revealed he told his mother to come for the upcoming Brighton match, saying it might be his last Anfield outing before departing for AFCON.

He also claimed the club failed to keep promises made to him in the summer, pointing out that he has now been left out of the starting XI three games in a row.

Slot now finds himself under even more pressure, with Salah openly challenging his authority at a time when Liverpool’s season is already spiralling.

Fans may sympathise with Salah, given his iconic status, but the timing and tone of the outburst only add to the turmoil surrounding the club.
