Mo Salah continues to etch his name in Premier League history, proving once more that no record is out of his reach.

In Liverpool’s season opener against Ipswich Town, the Egyptian forward displayed his signature finishing by scoring in the second half to extend Liverpool’s lead.

The first goal of the Arne Slot era was a perfect example of Liverpool’s teamwork, featuring a smooth combination between Trent Alexander-Arnold, Mo Salah, and Diogo Jota, who finished the move expertly.

This early goal set the tone for the match at Portman Road, giving Liverpool momentum and laying the groundwork for their commanding performance.

With this goal, Salah surpassed Premier League legends Frank Lampard, Wayne Rooney, and Alan Shearer, who each held the record of scoring eight goals on Premier League opening days.

Salah now stands alone in this remarkable achievement, further cementing his place as a footballing icon.

In summary, there’s only one Mo Salah, and with each match, his legacy continues to grow.
