Sir Jim Ratcliffe has verified the status of the Man United takeover proposition at the moment.

There is still competition to buy Manchester United, according to Ratcliffe.

The winner is being hailed as Sheikh Jassim, according to sources from Qatar.

The Glazer family has differing views on the proposals.

positive prospective customers Despite claims from Qatar that Sheikh Jassim has already won the tournament, Manchester United owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe has underlined that his bid to buy the team is still very much on the table.

Fans have discovered that the holdups throughout the takeover process have proven to be a huge source of annoyance for them as they wait to learn whether the Glazer family would agree to a sell and, if they do, whether Ratcliffe or Sheikh Jassim will be the new owner.

According to rumours coming from Qatar, Sheikh Jassim’s offer, which values the club at a lower amount than Ratcliffe’s bid but would include a 100% buy-out, is believed to have already been successful; however, Ratcliffe has denied those claims.

At the book’s launch on Wednesday, Ratcliffe said, “There is still a process, and we are in the process.”

“We’re happy to extend this offer to you. Although we’ve had some lovely conversations with the Glazers, ultimately their choice will be up to them.

“We are still really interested in doing it. Additionally, I believe that we would perform admirably and for the right reasons. We maintain our laser-like focus on it.

Ratcliffe elaborated on those factors and said that, although being aware of the financial benefits connected with owning a club of this kind, he is not interested in making money from United.

“Manchester United and other clubs of this type don’t make ’em like they used to,” he claimed. They aren’t being produced any longer. The value of unique items increases with time since they are so uncommon and rare, just like in the arts or other similar fields.

“I try to steer clear of either since it upsets me to spend or lose money. We are not there to make money off of it, even though it does not in any way provide me joy. If the asset is truly valuable, its value will keep increasing over time.

Last but not least, Ratcliffe made it clear that, should his bid be successful, he has no intention of changing Old Trafford’s name: “Oh no, God!” That kind of heresy is intolerable.
