In the upcoming week, Everton’s appeal decision regarding their second penalty is expected, coinciding with the conclusion of the Premier League season, following Nottingham Forest’s unsuccessful appeal over a points deduction.

When news broke about Everton and Nottingham Forest violating the Profit and Sustainability Rules (PSR), football fans began searching for updates, including inquiries about Manchester City’s situation.

Manchester City has been under scrutiny for alleged financial irregularities, facing 115 Premier League charges, which they strongly refute, over the past 15 months.

Additionally, it’s been suggested that a decision may not be reached for at least a year.

Manchester City’s accusations include:

– 54 instances of missing financial data from 2009–10 to 2017–18.

– Fourteen cases of inaccurate information on player and manager payments from 2009 to 2018.

– Five instances of non-compliance with UEFA’s Financial Fair Play (FFP) regulations from 2013–14 to 2017–18.

– Seven violations of Premier League PSR regulations from 2015–16 to 2017–18.

– Thirty-five instances of non-cooperation with Premier League inquiries from December 2018 to February 2023.

These 115 charges against City span various aspects of Premier League regulations, with 35 of them relating to the club’s alleged failure to assist the Premier League’s investigation between February 2023 and 2018.

City has consistently maintained that leaked documents, obtained by German tabloid Der Spiegel, were acquired unlawfully, referring to the 2009 financial accusations.
