Manchester City Outcast Kelvin Phillips Sends Pep Guardiola a warning message in an interview yesterday

Manchester City will start defending their Premier League title after the international break.

Pep Guardiola and his all-star squad will have more motivation on Saturday afternoon when they return to domestic matters after consecutive losses to Wolves and Arsenal. The next game at the Etihad Stadium will be between City and Brighton.

Many players have represented their countries in the last week or two, including the five players who represented England against Italy on Tuesday night, with John Stones speeding up his recuperation from injury.

Kalvin Phillips attributed his lackluster performance for England in their victory over Italy to the fact that he hasn’t featured much for City this season. He also said that he could have to “make a decision” regarding his future very soon.

The Three Lions defeated Luciano Spalletti’s squad 3-1 at Wembley to secure qualifying for the European Championships in Germany the following summer by rallying from behind. After trailing after just 15 minutes, Gareth Southgate’s team stormed back thanks to goals from Marcus Rashford of Manchester United and Harry Kane twice.

Like a few other well-known European players, Rodri has ruled out moving to Saudi Arabia.

The fact that City lost all three games during Rodri’s three-game suspension for receiving a red card last month highlighted the midfielder’s significance. After making a comeback for Spain during the international break, where they qualified for Euro 2024, Rodri will start for City against Brighton.

Following his 2019 transfer from Atletico Madrid to City, Rodri was asked by Spanish media if he would consider returning home or moving abroad once his time at City is up. The 27-year-old, who has a contract with City that runs through 2027, talked about his devotion to the team.
