Man Utd think about Jadon Sancho’s departure plans in light of the fallout from Erik ten Hag.

According to 90min, Jadon Sancho may be permitted to depart Manchester United in January on a “long-term” loan, with little chance of returning to Erik ten Hag’s starting lineup.

After a public falling out with manager Erik ten Hag that began at the beginning of September when the 23-year-old was left out of the traveling squad to play Arsenal, Sancho is currently barred from the first team lineup.

Ten Hag stated that Sancho was left out because of his training output relative to his teammates, but the player openly disputed this claim on social media. The player was immediately chastised by Ten Hag and United, and he has been training apart from the first team ever then. There has been no indication of a resolution as of yet.

Sancho has been infored that an apology to Ten Hag is the only way he can earn his place back at Old Trafford. Although Sancho has refused to date and there are no indications that his behavior will alter, 90min has disclosed throughout the past month that he has been actively encouraged to do so by the club’s administration, coaches, and teammates.

It is now acknowledged by United that Sancho will need to depart the team in January. Future co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe has been mentioned as having an influence on Sancho’s future. However, 90min has been informed that the INEOS CEO, who has a strong affinity for Ten Hag from his time at Ajax, will not meddle in team selections.

Numerous teams are already considering Sancho’s case, but 90min is aware that his ideal course of action would be to return to his old team, Borussia Dortmund. Dortmund is considering a move, but a lot will rely on how it is structured.

Sancho would probably require Dortmund to make space in their roster come January, but they are still evaluating the matter. And 90min is aware that an 18-month loan arrangement with recalls on both sides available in each window is one of the solutions under consideration.

United is open to the notion of a long-term loan, even if they would prefer a permanent sale. Given how Sancho’s time at the club has gone thus far, it seems unlikely that they would be able to return the majority of their initial investment in him.

The team believes that Sancho might regain his form and, with it, his potential value, with the aid of a long-term loan. United knows it’s in their best interests to see the England winger back on the field, and performing well at that, since his current contract is set to expire in 2026 with an additional year of option.

While Sancho’s team evaluates other options in Italy and Spain, other German clubs are also intrigued. According to 90min, West Ham is keeping an eye on the situation, indicating that the Premier League is also interested. However, a deal with another English club is thought to be much more challenging.
