Fluminense’s rising talent, Andre Trindade, has expressed his aspirations of playing in the Premier League, amidst rumored interest from clubs like Liverpool and Fulham.
The 22-year-old, currently participating in the Club World Cup with the Copa Libertadores champions, shared his ambitions during the tournament’s progress. Andre emphasized that while he dreams of a Premier League stint, his focus remains solely on concluding the season with Fluminense and striving for success in the Club World Cup.
Speaking via Ben Jacobs, the Brazilian midfielder stated, “Watching the Premier League, it’s a significant dream to compete there. My primary focus is concluding the season with Fluminense and achieving our dream of winning the Club World Cup. However, my ultimate aspiration is clear – to play in the Premier League.”

Jacobs reported that Fulham remains the top contenders for Andre, having a preliminary agreement with the Fluminense player. The Brazilian club is seeking a fee upwards of £20 million, with some sources hinting they might hold out for £30 million.
While Liverpool was linked with Andre earlier this summer, Jurgen Klopp sought multiple midfield additions for the team. The German coach is still eyeing a midfielder, but it’s uncertain if Liverpool will pursue Andre, despite the player’s eagerness to join the Premier League in 2024.
