Trent Alexander-Arnold isn’t the only Liverpool star recently linked with a move to Real Madrid.
Reports suggest that Alexis Mac Allister, who has had an outstanding season under Arne Slot, is also attracting interest from the Spanish giants.
The 26-year-old has made significant contributions to Liverpool’s campaign, scoring six goals and providing five assists, playing a key role in their push for silverware.
Given his performances, it’s no surprise that top clubs like Real Madrid have taken notice. However, Mac Allister has firmly shut down the transfer rumors, stating that he’s content at Liverpool and not considering a departure.
Speaking to TyC Sports journalist Gastón Edul, as reported by GOAL, the Argentine midfielder said:
“I see the rumors and the news gets to me, but the most important thing is the present. Even if the club loves me, a bad performance could change everything.
“I’m very comfortable at Liverpool. I don’t feel the need to leave. I have a deep respect for the club and don’t think it’s appropriate to discuss other teams.”
Mac Allister has made it clear he plans to stay at Anfield, where he has quickly become a vital part of the squad. Since arriving from Brighton, he’s elevated his game and emerged as one of the top midfielders in the league.
While Alexander-Arnold’s future remains uncertain, Liverpool fans can take comfort in knowing that Mac Allister is fully committed.
Meanwhile, the club continues to look for further midfield reinforcements, with Xavi Simons reportedly among their targets.
