Romano mentioned that while a move could still happen if Newcastle reduces their price, it’s not imminent, as there has been no recent contact or bid.
Newcastle is keen to keep Gordon, making any transfer challenging, but Liverpool’s interest is confirmed.
Meanwhile, Liverpool is also focused on potentially signing Real Sociedad midfielder Martin Zubimendi.
The Spaniard is reportedly open to a move to Liverpool, which aligns with the club’s opportunistic approach this transfer window.
