The Manchester United WhatsApp group that Jadon Sancho was a member of has closed, according to the most current information surrounding his prolonged absence from the first team.
Footballwave has learned that the winger in question has allegedly been “axed” from the discussion that Erik ten Hag and his coaching staff utilize to “send key info to first-team players.”
To remove Sancho from the roster of the first team, the same process has been taken.
The player, who is 23 years old, has been forced to train alone or play with the under-18 squad after being “banned” from first team practices. Sancho trains with the youthful squad, but he has to use the locker room by himself due to protocols put in place to ensure his safety.
Additionally, he is not permitted to utilize the canteen or any other facilities reserved for the first squad. Sancho has his own lunch from a takeout box while studying in the academy part.
Sancho is not allowed to park in the senior side lot and must use the academy version of the parking lot.
Ten Hag reportedly demands an apology from the winger before allowing him to return to the starting lineup, according to footballwave.
Sancho disputed his manager’s explanation in the open forum for not include him in the matchday squad that went to the Emirates Stadium in September. Without mentioning Ten Hag by name, the 23-year-old implied on X (formerly known as Twitter) that his manager was lying and attempting to use him as a “scapegoat.”
Given all of the efforts the Dutchman had taken to help him the previous season, Ten Hag reportedly felt personally betrayed by Sancho, which is why he was so incensed at the player’s outburst.
The winger has not shown regret to his management since the event.
It makes the most sense to leave the team during the January transfer window—possibly on loan—in order to put an end to this drawn-out story.
