Kick-off time and TV channel:

UK viewers can catch the action of Man United vs Liverpool on Sky Sports Main Event starting from 2:30 p.m., with the match set to commence at 3:30 p.m.

The comprehensive coverage on both Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Premier League will include pre-match analysis, the game itself, and post-match discussions and interviews. For those looking to stream the match, it will also be available on the Sky Go app starting at the same time.

Here’s everything you need to know about this weekend’s highly anticipated clash:

Man United team news:

Following injuries to Raphael Varane and Jonny Evans during the match against Chelsea, both players are doubtful for Sunday’s match.

The defensive crisis for United worsens with Victor Lindelof, Luke Shaw, Lisandro Martinez, and Tyrell Malacia all ruled out due to various injuries. Anthony Martial and backup goalkeeper Altay Bayindir are also sidelined with injuries.

Possible XI: Andre Onana, Aaron Wan–Bissaka, Willy Kambwala, Harry Maguire, Diogo Dalot, Kobbie Mainoo, Casemiro, Bruno Fernandes, Alejandro Garnacho, Marcus Rashford, Rasmus Hojlund

Liverpool team news:

Stefan Bajcetic, Alisson, and Trent Alexander–Arnold are not expected to return until next week, potentially ruling them out for the United clash. Joel Matip, Thiago Alcantara, and Ben Doak are also unavailable due to injuries, while Wataru Endo is a doubt after picking up a knock in the previous match against Brighton.

However, Ibrahimia Konate is expected to feature despite suffering a knee injury in the match against Sheffield United.

Possible XI: Caoimhin Kelleher, Conor Bradley, Ibrahimia Konate, Virgil Van Dijk, Andy Robertson, Wataru Endo, Alexis Mac Allister, Dominik Szoboszlai, Mo Salah, Luis Diaz, Darwin Nunez.

Head-to-head:

Although Manchester United holds a slight advantage in their head-to-head record against Liverpool, they have only won once in their last 11 league meetings. Liverpool will be eager to capitalize on their recent momentum and secure a crucial win to maintain their title aspirations.

Prediction:

With Liverpool motivated to secure a win to keep their title hopes alive and United facing confidence issues after their recent defeat to Chelsea, we predict Liverpool to emerge victorious by at least two goals.
