“It didn’t seem to me Mykhailo Mudryk second goal was a fluke and a lucky goal he can’t score such again- Mikel Arteta insists Chelsea’s second goal was a fluke

Chelsea’s second goal was the subject of a heated debate between Mikel Arteta, the manager of Arsenal, and his team during their thrilling 2-2 draw. Mykhailo Mudryk’s goal was a brilliant moment as he showed off his footwork at the edge of the Arsenal penalty area. David Raya, the goalie for Arsenal, looked to chip the ball over Mudryk after he veered off his post.

But after watching the tapes, questions surfaced regarding the goal’s motivation. Mudryk’s chip appeared to be a misdirected cross meant for Raheem Sterling. Both teams and onlookers were perplexed as to how the ball managed to get into the back of the net.

It was interesting to learn that Toni Jimenez, Chelsea’s goalkeeping coach, had actually told Mudryk to watch out for Raya’s propensity to move from his line. It was a calculated ploy to take advantage of the location of the Arsenal keeper. Though Mudryk knew it was supposed to be a cross for Sterling, he took advantage of the situation and went for the bold chip.

Arteta seemed surprised and doubtful when he heard Chelsea was claiming the goal. “It didn’t seem to me,” he said, raising the question of whether it was deliberate. They see far more clearly. If this was intentional, then well done. The idea that Mudryk intentionally chipped the ball into the net did not seem to convince Arteta.

For both teams, the entire game was an emotional rollercoaster. At first, it seemed as though Chelsea had won easily. But Arsenal’s manager, Mauricio Pochettino, will surely be disappointed with his team for allowing the win to elude them. The draw reminds us that anything can happen in football up until the last whistle.

In conclusion, the controversy surrounding Chelsea’s second goal in the Chelsea vs. Arsenal game gives the game a fascinating new dimension. Arteta maintains that it was an error, despite some contending that it was a deftly played chip. In any case, the goal gave the match between the two best Premier League teams even more intrigue and served as a talking point.
