Alexander Isak Urged to Consider Premier League Switch as Arsenal, Chelsea, and Liverpool Circle

Newcastle United striker Alexander Isak is attracting serious interest from top Premier League clubs amid a standout season at St James’ Park.

With 25 goals to his name and a Carabao Cup win under his belt, the 25-year-old has become one of the most in-demand forwards in Europe.

Despite no clear signs that Isak is pushing for a move, speculation is mounting. Newcastle are reportedly holding out for a fee north of £100 million if they’re to part ways with the Swedish star.

Chelsea are on the hunt for a new striker and former Blues midfielder Gus Poyet believes Isak would be a perfect fit at Stamford Bridge.

“I’d love to see him at Chelsea,” Poyet said. “He’s got great movement, technical ability, and could really push Nicolas Jackson, who needs competition.”

Arsenal are also heavily linked, with club legend Ian Wright convinced that current players are already encouraging Mikel Arteta to go after Isak.

“He gave Saliba and Gabriel a nightmare earlier this season,” Wright said. “They’ll be telling Arteta, ‘We need this guy.’ He’s the full package—he can drop deep, link play, run beyond defenders, and score.”

Even Liverpool have been tentatively linked. Jamie Carragher has expressed admiration for Isak, saying, “I’d love to see him at Liverpool. A proper centre-forward is something the squad still needs.

But whether the club would break the bank for him is another matter. They’re more likely to go after the ‘next Isak’ than pay top dollar now.”

As the summer transfer window approaches, interest in Isak is only heating up—especially after his latest performance, scoring his 25th goal of the season in Newcastle’s dominant 5-0 win over Crystal Palace.

The Magpies are currently third in the league and chasing a Champions League return, but whether they can keep hold of their star forward remains to be seen.
