Former Chelsea and Bayern Munich manager Thomas Tuchel has reportedly made his decision about taking over the England national team.
Following Gareth Southgate’s departure after Euro 2024, the Football Association (FA) has been searching for a successor, and Tuchel has emerged as the top choice.
Southgate, who led England to significant achievements such as the Euro 2020 final and the 2018 World Cup semi-finals, stepped down after the upcoming European Championship.
Since his exit, Lee Carsley has served as interim manager, guiding England to a 3-1 win over Finland in the Nations League.
The FA has been actively seeking a permanent replacement, and several big names, including Tuchel, were linked to the position.
Tuchel, known for his success at top clubs like Chelsea, where he won the Champions League, was a leading candidate due to his extensive experience.
