Should this transfer materialize, Manchester United is poised to unleash a formidable four-pronged assault on the AmEx Stadium team. According to reports from Football Transfers, Potter’s envisioned dream squad for Manchester United is anticipated to feature four or more Brighton players.

To bolster the attacking lineup, Evan Ferguson is earmarked to support Rasmus Hojlund in the No. 9 position, while Julio Enciso is slated to assume Bruno Fernandes’ role in the No. 10 position. Additionally, it is rumored that Billy Gilmour could join from Chelsea to replace compatriot Scott McTominay and Casemiro in the midfield, completing the trio of alterations in the starting lineup.

Furthermore, Pervis Estupinan is expected to solidify the left-back position. Alongside these Brighton recruits, Potter is rumored to target Chelsea’s central defender Trevoh Chalobah, whom the Stamford Bridge outfit may release in the upcoming summer transfer window.

If Sir Jim Ratcliffe realizes his aspirations and installs Potter, the former Chelsea manager, as Manchester United’s new leader, a potential raid on Brighton for up to four players looms on the horizon.

Currently, Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag faces criticism for another lackluster season at Old Trafford, compounded by a recent defeat against bitter rivals Manchester City. This setback has left Manchester United trailing by 11 points behind fourth-placed Aston Villa, with their Champions League qualification hopes fading with each passing week.

Reports from The Sun suggest that Ratcliffe is eyeing Graham Potter for the United managerial role, purportedly due to the new minority owner’s admiration for the former Chelsea manager. Notably, Potter came close to joining Nice last summer—a club also owned by INEOS.

Potter has reportedly engaged in discussions about the potential move with Dan Ashworth, who is poised to assume the role of Manchester United’s new sporting director.
