Victor Osimhen disclosed which two Premier League teams he would love to join after acknowledging that he turned down a very sizable offer last summer.

The Napoli striker has been the subject of intense transfer rumors over the past year following a season of Serie A goal-scoring that saw him awarded the Golden Boot. A number of Europe’s most prestigious clubs have expressed interest in the 24-year-old because to the present high demand for finishers.

Of course, Premier League teams have been among them; sources suggest that Tottenham Hotspur, Newcastle, Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester United, Liverpool, and Newcastle have all expressed interest at one time or another.

And now, Victor Osimhen revealed which two English teams, if he were to leave Napoli, he would prefer to join in an interview with former Chelsea midfielder John Obi Mikel on the Obi One Podcast.

“I have two shirts: Chelsea and Manchester United,” Osimhen exclaimed. I don’t have a favorite team in the Premier League. “Both Chelsea and Manchester United are supported by a sizable portion of my friends.

“African players are the ones who enjoy the Premier League the most, despite it being an excellent league.”

But earlier in the conversation, Osimhen discusses turning down a move from Al-Hilal, a Saudi Arabian team, after Napoli rejected a £175 million offer. Even if he admits it was difficult to decline such an enticing offer, the Nigerian goal scorer emphasizes that he and the Italian champions arrived to the decision.

What was said is accurate. Since Napoli wanted to keep me, I never really thought about leaving during the summer, but when the huge offer from Saudi Arabia came in, it was hard to say no. I spoke with Napoli and decided to stay.

It wasn’t real. The more times I said “no,” the more money they offered. It would have changed my life, but they persisted. But I said, “No guys, I’m staying.”

“I had to make a significant decision after meetings in August. I discussed with Napoli and we decided to decline. I didn’t want anyone to think I was prepared to leave. When it came to my career, I made the proper decision.
