Erik ten Hag is about to be let down again by Manchester United as they choose not to sign a player for a key position.

Given the club’s financial limitations, it seems that Manchester United’s management is once again in a position to let Erik ten Hag down, according to a report from Football Insider.

As a result, it is anticipated that the squad would refocus its efforts on obtaining more affordable center-back possibilities because they are not financially capable of making large purchases during the winter transfer window.

The club’s failure to sign a center-back for Ten Hag during the previous summer transfer window is what led to this predicament.

This has now been a problem for the squad, particularly in view of the injuries that Lisandro Martinez and Raphael Varane suffered early in the current campaign.

Thus, none of their current center backs are expected to leave the team, thus the Dutch coach will be able to utilize his current squad as much as possible.

Prior to the January transfer window, Manchester United was linked to a possible deal for Marc Guehi of Crystal Palace and indicated interest in Goncalo Inacio and Jean-Clair Todibo throughout the summer.

United’s team may have been greatly strengthened by any of these choices. The club’s followers will be disappointed to learn that there won’t be any new players at Old Trafford.

This is hardly good news, especially considering how difficult the team’s season opener has been.
