Liverpool defeated Nottingham Forest 3-0 at Anfield to make it back-to-back Premier League victories.
The Reds took the lead with the tap-in of Diogo Jota, who scored after Matt Turner had stopped Darwin Nunez’s attempt shortly after the half-hour mark. The Portuguese commemorated the strike with a moving ceremony in honor of Luis Diaz, whose parents were abducted on Saturday in Colombia.
Four minutes later, Nunez scored another goal for Liverpool, capping excellent work by Mohamed Salah and Dominik Szoboszlai.
In the second half, Salah completed the score after a blunder in the Forest defense gave the Egyptian an open goal. In stoppage time, substitute Cody Gakpo had a fourth goal disallowed for offside.
