Manchester United has reportedly received permission from Sir Jim Ratcliffe and his INEOS team to pursue two summer transfer targets.
Ratcliffe’s acquisition of a 25% stake in the club has positioned him and his team to oversee football operations, while the Glazers will handle commercial affairs.
It’s been indicated that United will target Crystal Palace’s French winger Michael Olise, alongside an experienced striker who has consistently scored in top-five leagues.
Olise is expected to be a primary target for United in the upcoming transfer window. As for the striker position, names like Victor Osimhen, Serhou Guirassy, Joshua Zirkzee, and Benjamin Sesko have been linked, with United preferring a different profile from previous signings like Rasmus Hojlund.
Despite Hojlund’s challenging start, he’s beginning to settle and show promise. While United’s pursuit of Harry Kane was reported earlier, they are now focused on their upcoming Premier League match against Luton Town.
