Breaking news: David De Gea appears to have taunted Manchester United after their poor performance against Bournemouth. “They blamed me, but there’s still no improvement. What’s going on?” Following United’s defeat at Old Trafford, De Gea seemed to share another mysterious message on Instagram.

Although Anthony Gordon scored the only goal of the game, their complete dominance wasn’t reflected in the scoreline.

Following the defeat, former Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea’s enigmatic use of an “ice cold” emoji on social media triggered speculation among fans. Many interpreted the post as a possible taunt directed at United’s lackluster performance against Newcastle.

The timing of his tweet was intriguing, possibly influenced by the extreme weather conditions prevailing at the moment. De Gea has a history of using emojis to convey hidden messages, as seen when he posted a yawning emoji during contract negotiations to express his frustration.

In another instance, back in October, he seemed to have responded with a ‘thinking face’ emoji to rumors suggesting a return to Manchester United.

Not receiving a new deal from United in the summer led to De Gea’s departure, with Andre Onana taking his place. However, Onana’s performance has been disappointing for the team, with several errors leading to goals.

De Gea’s exit from the club disappointed many, including himself. After nearly 12 years with over 500 appearances and multiple trophies, he felt he deserved more recognition.

Recent reports suggest that he remains a free agent and could potentially join Steven Gerrard’s Al Ettifaq.
